Le Conseil Scientifique de l’École est l’instance qui veille à la qualité et à la pertinence scientifique de notre formation et de notre recherche.

Composé d’éminents experts, chercheurs et professionnels du patrimoine, il guide notre établissement dans l’évolution des savoirs et des pratiques.

Son rôle est crucial pour maintenir notre enseignement à la pointe des avancées techniques et éthiques en conservation-restauration, assurant ainsi l’excellence de nos diplômés face aux défis de demain.

The school’s scientific advisory board issues opinions and recommendations on the institution’s academic, pedagogical, and scientific matters. Its main responsibilities include reviewing and approving training and research plans, approving research or laboratory projects, and defining programs for scientific and socio-economic cooperation and partnership.

The school’s Scientific Council is governed by Article 43 of Executive Decree No. 16-176 of 9 Ramadhan 1437, corresponding to June 14, 2016.

The Scientific Council is an advisory body. As such, it issues opinions and recommendations, particularly on: the institutional plan; annual and multi-year training and research plans; proposals for the creation, modification, or dissolution of departments and, where applicable, research units and laboratories; national and international exchange and scientific cooperation programs; training and research reports; partnership programs with various socio-economic sectors; programs for scientific events; initiatives to promote research results; reports on the acquisition of scientific and technical documentation; initiatives related to innovation, monitoring, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship; continuing education, professional development, and retraining activities; initiatives related to the implementation of a quality assurance approach in teaching; initiatives related to the implementation of an information system.

It proposes guidelines for research and scientific and technical documentation policies. It provides its opinion on any other educational or scientific matter submitted to it by its chair. The director brings the opinions and recommendations issued by the Scientific Council to the attention of the Board of Directors.

Art. 44. The Scientific Council comprises: the Director, who serves as Chair; the Deputy Directors; the Department Chairs; the Chairs of departmental scientific committees; the Director(s)

of research units and/or laboratories, if applicable, the library director; elected representatives of faculty members; an elected representative of adjunct faculty, if applicable; two (2) faculty members from other institutions of higher education. The school’s scientific council may invite any person whose expertise may be useful to its work.
