The Restoration of a Plaster Cast from the École supérieure des Beaux-Arts Titled “Seated Dog in a Crouching Position”

The plaster cast from the Louvre workshop is part of a collection acquired during the colonial period. These copies of works of art have been affected by storage and handling.
This damage is irreversible and requires intervention.
To this end, the statue of the seated greyhound will be restored, and a conservation plan will be developed following its restoration.
