The Conservation of Metal Artifacts on Display at the National Maritime Museum in Algiers (Case Study: The Sphinx Shipwreck Collection)

The study was conducted in several stages, beginning with an assessment of preventive conservation, followed by the development of an appropriate protocol to mitigate or reduce factors contributing to deterioration, and finally by curative conservation through direct intervention aimed at improving the legibility of the objects and ensuring their stability, followed by a protection process.
