Cleaning and Restoration of Amphora Fragments Recovered from a Marine Environment at Tipasa

The objective of this thesis is to characterize the ceramic shards from two amphora fragments found in a marine environment at Tipasa, as well as to address their conservation and restoration, beginning with pre-consolidation, mechanical and chemical cleaning, and concluding with final consolidation and reassembly.
