2025 Theme: Artificial Intelligence

The central theme chosen by the Ministry of Culture and the Arts is “Cultural Heritage in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The goal is to explore how new technologies can revolutionize the preservation, documentation, and restoration of cultural heritage objects.

Program Highlights

Numerous activities are organized throughout the country by cultural departments and museums:

• Tizi Ouzou: Organization of workshops and conferences on AI in the service of memory and the arts.
• Algiers: “Our Heritage in Pictures” photography exhibition at Bastion 23.
• Constantine: A study day at Constantine 3 University featuring documentary screenings and discussions on digital preservation.
• Ouargla: Showcasing intangible cultural heritage with booths dedicated to traditional crafts, local cuisine, and musical instruments.
• International Events: Organization of conferences on manuscripts, rock art, and Afro-Mediterranean thought.
